The initial consultation with Mum or Dad is a very important part, to help children feel at ease and design a haircut that everyone will love!

SENSORY-INCLUSIVE SALON
Children with autism and sensory processing issues can find experiences that are routine and easy for others, to be painful sensory minefields.
There are many other aspects to a traditional haircut that many autistic clients find very challenging from a sensory perspective, such as sitting for a long time with wet hair, loud appliances like hairdryers and scented products that all compound to make it a difficult experience for a lot of autistic children.
At Debbies we have extensive experience dealing with children who need that extra care and attention.
We make the experience for them welcoming and calming, we also take the extra time to learn what they like to ensure its a memorable for the right reasons and most importantly we ensure it is a fun experience that they will look forward to the next time!
